Looking Glass Falls
Just off U.S. 276, Looking Glass Falls gives you one of the easiest dramatic views in the Brevard area. An overlook near the roadside frames the full drop, while a stairway leads closer to the base and creek. Its size and accessibility have made it one of the region’s iconic waterfall stops.

Sliding Rock is a natural water slide on Looking Glass Creek where visitors descend a smooth rock slope into a cold mountain pool below. The slide is about 60 feet long, and the site includes an observation area and seasonal staffing, giving this roadside stop a classic Pisgah summer tradition feel.

Brevard White Squirrels
Brevard’s white squirrels are part of the town’s identity, turning an everyday walk into a local scavenger hunt. Brevard Brewing Company
Right on Main Street, Brevard Brewing Company stands out for its focus on hand-crafted lagers in a region often associated with hop-forward beer. The family-owned brewery keeps about 10 beers on tap, giving downtown Brevard an easy stop for a house-made pour while exploring the center of town.
